Japanese Post office in China. A 5s ultra marine 1883 from Japan on envelope to U.S.A., cancelled "Shanghai IJPA Dec 13 1890" and transit cds "Yokohama 18 Dec 1890" beside. Arrival cds "New York Jan 19 91" at reverse. A small and nice cover.
A registered envelope sent without stamps, but with a oval mark "Paid" in black. "Registered Shanghai Mr 7 07" cds on reverse. A horizontal crease goes through "Paid".
Columbia. 8 different proofs in sheets of 100. All in black colour.
